Description

One reason I love coffee is because it is an easy way to connect with others. Usually when I go to a coffee shop, it is with another person; a close friend, a family member, or a significant other. We then can easily spend hours sharing with each other about the highs and lows of life. So many of my memories of coffee revolve around deeply connecting with other person which is why I continue to feel drawn towards a coffee mug as a subject matter.

The original piece is a 9 x 12 inch mixed media (acrylic paint and India ink) work of a coffee mug and its shadow. I created this piece on Rives BFK paper and mounted it on MDF board. There is a pieces of hanging hardware on the back of the MDF board. The piece is signed and dated on the back. Price includes shipping within the U.S. Images 1-3 in the gallery.

Giclee printing is the process of using fade-resistant, archival inks from an inkjet printer to create a reproduction of an original piece of art. Each print is hand signed. Print is unframed. Price includes shipping within the U.S. Image 4 in the gallery.

The regular print is also printed from a high resolution scan of the original onto 80 lb card stock paper. Print size is 9 x 12 inches. Frame in the photo is not included. Print is hand signed on the back. Price includes shipping within the U.S. Image 5 in the gallery.
