Two summers ago I went to New York City for the first time to visit my younger sister who lives there. It was fascinating seeing the city through her eyes. This piece is based on a photo I took of the city’s skyline from the Great Lawn in Central Park.
The original piece is a 17 x 11 inch mixed media (India ink, tissue paper, and pen). I created this piece on Rives BFK paper and mounted it on MDF board. There are two pieces of hanging hardware on the back of the MDF board. The piece is signed and dated on the back. Price includes shipping within the U.S. Images 1-3 in gallery.
Giclee printing is the process of using fade-resistant, archival inks from an inkjet printer to create a reproduction of an original piece of art. This giclee print is printed from a high resolution scan of the original drawing. The print is available in three different sizes: 11 x 16 inches, 9 x 13 inches, and 5 x 7 inches. Each different image size has a 1 inch border all the way around and is printed on 190 gsm fine art paper. Each print is hand signed. Print is unframed. Price includes shipping within the U.S. Image 4 in the gallery.
The regular print is also printed from a high resolution scan of the original onto 80 lb laser paper. Available in three different sizes: 11 x 16 inches, 9 x 13 inches, and 5 x 7 inches. Frame in photo is not included. Print is hand signed on the back. Price includes shipping within the U.S. Image 5 in the gallery.
