In college, I spent two summers in a row living in Charleston, SC. Charleston is now one of favorite cities because of the relationships I developed during that time as well as the beauty of the city. And one of my favorite places in Charleston is White Point Garden which is located in the Battery. I have spent hours there, alone and with friends, usually in a hammock between two of the magnificent oak trees. This painting is based on my own photo within White Point Garden.
