I am so excited to share places I will be set up with my artwork over the next couple months. At all of these events, my original pieces as well as prints and notecards will be available for purchase.
February 29th, 10 am – 5 pm
*I will be doing a pop up show at Pottery Barn in the Cool Springs Mall in Franklin, TN.
April 4th, 10 am – 5 pm
*Another pop up show at the Green Hills Pottery Barn in Nashville, TN.
April 24th – 26th
*I will be participating in the Panoply Arts Festival in Huntsville, Alabama. This festival is one of the Southeast’s largest art events. It features only about 100 professional artists, so I am very honored that I was accepted this year. There will also be local and regional musicians playing across three stages, hands on STEAM activities, community art projects, and theater and dance performances. For more information, check out: http://www.artshuntsville.org/panoply-arts-festival-2/
I am also talking to Hester & Cook in Downtown Franklin about doing a pop up show with them. We don’t have an exact date on the calendar yet, but I will keep you updated once that is set.
Again, I am very excited about all of these, so hope to see some of you all there!
My Most Recent Work
I love music and discovering new bands whose songs connect with me emotionally. Then it is a whole other experience being able to see those bands or artists perform live. Not only is the Ryman Auditorium significant to the history of Music City, but I have a special connection to it because I have been able to see some of my favorite musicians, whose songs have been influential in my life, play there.
The original painting is made with India ink on Rives BFK paper. It is 5×7 inches with about an inch border. The painting is unmounted and unframed and initialed on the front and signed on the back. Price includes shipping in the US. Prints of this piece are also available!
I had so much fun making this piece! I wanted to experiment with making a piece that had so much texture to it. This original piece is 11 x 16 inches. It shows the Smokey Mountains and is made entirely of built up tissue paper, with a little India ink added for color. I created this piece on Rives BFK paper and mounted it on MDF board. There are two pieces of hanging hardware on the back of the MDF board. The piece is signed and dated on the back. Price includes shipping within the U.S. Prints are available as well! The two images below show details of the piece.
